Christmas Table Decorating

We are now less than 48 hours away from the big day, where has the year gone?  My shopping is finally all done & we're enjoying some quiet time around the house before the arrival of Santa Claus.

Bringing Christmas Joy to girls and boys!

This year for Christmas we are staying home and hosting dinner at our house.  Typically we head to the cottage but as it falls in the middle of the week this year we decided it would be best to stay home.  Hubby cooks the turkey with all the trimmings including Yorkshire puddings, mmmmm.  The kids are excited and so are we.

If you are hosting Christmas at yours, here's some fabulous ideas for decorating your table for the holidays that are sure to inspire!

The hanging stars and snowflakes are a simple way to add a bit of festive fun.

A neutral colour palette with a much more organic feel in this nature inspired table decor.

A contemporary design style with a non traditional Christmas colour scheme.
Alternatively, if you prefer the country farmhouse look, this table set for holiday breakfast is lovely!

Now for something much more eccentric....

This is SO over the top, but I can't help but want to study it! Is there even a tree under all that stuff??

How do you set your table for the holidays?
