Happy Birthday to ~delicious decor~

Wow, I know the kids grow up fast but I can't believe that it's already been one year since my first blog posting!  Happy birthday ~delicious decor~ and thank you for all the joy you bring to my life.

1 year is a big deal!

'Welcome to delicious decor' was published on September 7, 2011 and at that time I had no idea what I was getting myself into or what to expect from blogging.  One year later I can tell you that blogging has brought me so much pleasure and the opportunity to expand my knowledge of design as well as the ability to connect with so many people that I never dreamed possible.

Blogging is an open door to the world

I won't lie, writing blogs is not for the faint hearted. In fact it is so much more time consuming than I ever imagined but so rewarding as well.  And that is mainly down to you, my lovely readers!  I love when you comment, send e-mails or for those of you I know personally and speak to often - you all have given me such positive feedback. I truly appreciate and love you all for your support. 

So grateful for you all. xox

I recently sent all my subscribers an e-mail to say 'Thanks!' and asked for design topics that matter to you specifically that I can address.  The response has been brilliant and I can't wait to get started on these posts!  Just please allow me some time as I am now focusing on my contest ~Delicious Room Makeover~ until the end of September.  After that, I am all yours again!

Pretty pictures are what we love the most!

One year and 80 posts later, the fire within me is still burning like mad! The next year promises more amazing design ideas, inspiration and of course, plenty of pretty pictures to excite your senses.
